CHENNAI STORIES-1

Chandru walks faster than usual today. "I shouldn't have waited for that extra tiffin box. Now its heavy and I'm already late", he thought while panting. He notices that the station is crowded than usual. "Could it be some vacation, what a crowd is this! What day is it today?" He looks around to find the digital clock he checks every morning. "Oh, its Friday. Mythili ranted me about her cousin's wedding two days back I have to send the money when I reach the office." He steps out of the station and turns towards the direction of the office building. He realises that he isn't able to spot the usual beggar outside the station. The vegetable vendor also seems to be missing. "Hmm, weird" he thought and pauses. He tries to look around trying to search for the usual faces. He knows he is late for office, but he pauses. He resumes his fast walk to his office when he sees that man coming out of the subway.
